A snowy egret on the sandy beaches of Sanibel Island in Florida, USA. Taken on a sunny day in November 2014.
On a cool September misty morning in 2014 looking down a walkway between towering trees. The sun becomes rays through the swirling mist being divided by shadows created by the trees. Taken in Niagara on the Lake in Ontario Canada in the historic Old Town.
The sun rising over the hills and pine trees in Central Ontario just north of Bancroft. It was late summer 2013, on a warm August morning.
On a cool foggy September morning, as the sun was starting to filter through the mist, I captured this shot of the misty rays filtering through a large tree. It was taken in 2013 in Niagara on the Lake in Ontario near the Niagara Parkway which runs along the Niagara River.
Early Spring in Niagara on the Lake brings out the blossoms on the fruit trees in various orchards. These were at the their peak when I snapped this picture on a sunny morning. These particular trees were peach. But there are several orchards of cherries, plums and apple that dot the area.
This image was captured after a fairly substantial light snowfall that sat perfectly on the trees in this orchard. The sky was still overcast in the morning and the snow on the ground was undisturbed giving the trees the perfect contrast through the middle of the photo.
A dream like picture of a bridge to the setting sun over the ocean. The picture is smaller in size than most of the others here. The sunset over the ocean was taken in the Caribbean Sea and the bridge was captured in the Niagara, Ontario Region.
A frosty morning in Central Ontario just north of Bancroft. The layers of fog made for a spectacular scene as the sun came up over this farm with the horses running through the fields. It was taken in Fall from a beautiful bed and breakfast named Benaaron. One of the best B&B’s in Ontario.
Baby ducklings all bundled together. This was take at Disney World in the Animal Kingdom in Orlando Florida.
The September morning sun streaming through the fog, cut by the branches of the trees on a cool morning. Taken at Paradise Grove Park in the historic Old Town of Niagara on the Lake in Ontario Canada.
A lone sail boat out on the Atlantic Ocean in late Spring. Taken in May of 2015 looking out from the beach near Cape Canaveral Florida.
Our snowshoe cross breed cat, Nancy Drew, taking a break from watching the scenery outside to pose for a close up on a lazy Sunday morning. A snowshoe breed is a mix between a Siamese and and domestic. Nancy came away with the crossed eyes.
A mountain landscape from Alaska in late Spring 2014. The blues were vibrant and the clouds placed perfectly.
A Great Blue Heron standing in the water near Clearwater Florida. Every morning outside our hotel several herons, white, blue, yellow crowned and little blue, would fish in the shallow waters off the coast.
Looking down the line of an orchard after a fresh snowfall in Niagara on the Lake Ontario. Taken just after Christmas in 2013 after the areas first snow.
A female red throat hummingbird zoning in on a cosmopolitan flower in Central Ontario near Wilno. Taken in the summer of 2015 in a bed full of wild flowers at a excellent B&B in the area.
Picturesque photo of an Anhinga Darter on Sanibel Island in Florida. This was captured in the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, a large preserve on the island where hundreds of species of birds make their home.
American Gold Finches having an early morning breakfast in early Spring of 2014. Taken in the Woodend Conservation Park that borders Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls Ontario. This is the first of three in a series of these.
Being from Canada this trail really fascinated me. I’ve been down evergreen trails; birch, walnuts, maples overhead, yes, but never a palm tree trail. It was located on the outskirts of Orlando Florida.
A snowy egret on Sanibel Island in Florida. He was one of the few standing off by himself while dozens of others searched for their morning breakfast among the fisherman near the pier.
On a beautiful Spring morning one May I caught a small flock of American Gold Finch’s picking out the seeds from the some long stalks.
